We started off our 2008 season at Chippewa Valley Retriever Club in Glenwood City, WI on May 24th. Topshelf Retrievers has a new Master Hunter!!! Topshelfs Elsa's Pride MH, call name Elsa passed her 5th and final Master Hunt Test to receive her title. We are so proud of her.

Next Vegas and Kathy tried their luck at Minnesota Iron Range in Virginia, MN on June 6th. We received a Jam in the Qual. Not bad after only having 3 weeks to get in shape after having puppies.

Then we ran at Central Minnesota Retriever Club in St. Cloud, MN on June 14th. Matt decided no matter what this would be Alley's last test. It is time she retired from competition. Matt was so proud as she spanked the first series, sat like a dream on the first honor. Then came the second honor and to Matt's surprise Alley did something she hasn't done since she was at 4 months old, she broke! Alley decided she needed one last flyer. Gotta love her.

Elsa, Alley's daughter, went out and had a nice showing and received another AKC Master Hunter Ribbon.

Since Vegas and I did so well in the Qual at the Iron Range we decided to try again at North Dakota Retriever Club in Glyndon, MN on July 11th. Again we received a Jam in the Qual.
